I completed an intensive (160 hour) CELTA course at International House Barcelona in October 2009. I am living in Barcelona, but I am open to fruitful opportunities anywhere else abroad. I speak English and Spanish and have experience working with students of any age (children as young as 5, teenagers, adults).

October 2009 Cambridge CELTA: International House Barcelona – Spain
- Attended the four-week course. Six hours of teaching practice with an Upper Intermediate class as well as an Elementary level class.
2005-2009 B.A. Spanish: Grand Valley State University – Michigan, USA
- Also completed course requirements for the College of Education.

American School of Barcelona: 2010 – Present – Esplugues de Llobregat, Cataluña
- Substituting at least once a week, but often many days a week, for various grades and subjects.
Molins English Center: 2009 – Present – Molins de Rei, Cataluña
- Substituting and specifically teaching English to different ages and levels, in large classes and one-to-one conversation.
Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp: 2007 and 2009 – Michigan, USA
- Camp counselor and instructors’ assistant for children aged 11–18.
- Between the two summers of counseling, I undertook an intensive study of Spanish literature at Universidad Nacional in Costa Rica during the summer of 2008.
