I have been very close to Education for many years, and now that practicing it as a profession is most probably in the past, I feel a lingering regret. Children are the humans with the most awe; to foster that with encouragement is one of the most rewarding experiences, no matter how brief. I’m so glad that Sugata won the TED 2013 prize of $1 Million to pioneer new learning environments. I can’t imagine anything more worthy than a program that brings encouragement to more children around the world. This was a great talk.
Sugata Mitra makes his bold TED Prize wish: Help me design the School in the Cloud, a learning lab in India, where children can explore and learn from each other — using resources and mentoring from the cloud.
